DonutBun:WhereToBuy&HowToMake

A hair bun is one of my favorite styles to wear. Whether I'm slicking my hair back for a dressy classic bun or pulling my wispy baby hairs down around my face and neck for a fun messy look, the hair bun is easy to do. This trend is growing by the moment and has been seen in both street style and celebrity fashion. Now there is an even easier way to create this look and costs only about $3.00 online or in beauty supply stores. Also, I have 7 steps below to create your own homemade donut bun.

HeadAccessory

Of course accessories are a vital part of an outfit and most times an outfit it not complete without that certain ring or bag. But lets not forget that our hair can act as an accessory in itself. It is so easy to style depending on what your are wearing or feeling at the moment. Also, I wanted to share the good news! I have recently been named the Accessories Editor of Front Row Monthly online (soon to be printed) magazine. I am so excited for this amazing opportunity and just recently completed my first article. Stay tuned for my first piece in the October issue!
In the meantime, check out these awesome hairspirations :)

DashianLook-Alike

I love to see what how Kourtney Kardashian dresses her petite 5'1 frame because she does it so well. I loved this cobalt blue dress she wore at the Teen Choice Awards this year. The short front shows off a little leg which lengthens her body, while the flowing chiffon in the back creates a classy, elegant and more mature look. I was online shopping at LuLus.com and came across a few dresses that resemble Kourtney's pick quite well! Check em out : )

High-Wastedness

I just can't seem to get enough of the amazing high-wasted shorts trend that is making its way to extreme popularity lately. Not too many lovelies have gotten up the guts to sport this 80's trend but I just can't seem to get enough! They perfectly accentuate the tiniest part of your body, your waist! What's not to love?! I have found quite a few pair at the normal everyday stores like Urban and F21, but my favorites (like these above,) are the thrifted, worn in, original Levi's :] I'll be sure to post a few of my other favorites that I own. I recently cut off green acid washed high-wasted jeans to the most amazing butt-cheeky shorts. Destroyed, studded, spiked or just plain old rolled up, I love them all. Definitely my new favorite item!
